DAF DISCUSSIONS - YEVAMOS 68

tuvya marcus asks:

I didn't understand if there was a final maskana:

a yisraelis who has bia with a psul and then marries a cohen.

Can she eat trumah?

also, btw, a regular israelis who marries a cohen - can she eat matnas kehuna or just trumah?

tuvya marcus, Jerusalem, Israel

The Kollel replies:

1) The Maskana is that she cannot eat Terumah. This is stated in the Beraisa (68a) and is recorded as the Halachah by the Rambam in Hilchos Terumah 8:11.

2) In Eizehu Mekoman (the fifth chapter of Zevachim recited every morning before Pesukei d'Zimra), we learn that Kodshim Kalim (from Todah onwards, which is the Mishnah in Zevachim 55a) are permitted to the wives of the Kohanim.

Kol Tuv,
