A LAND OF HALACHAH

1) Praise of the Land -

To this approach - that this Pasuk is a technical list of Halachic measurements - how is the Torah praising Eretz Yisrael thereby?

1. Yosef Da'as to Sukah 5:p3, ד"ה כל הפסוק

2) Wheat -

The measure of time "K'dei Achilas Pras" (enough to eat a half-loaf) is estimated using wheat [bread]. Is this true only of the example given here (Tum'as Tzara'as), or for all Mitzvos and prohibitions?

3) Grape Wine -

Doesn't a Revi'is of any liquid contain the same amount?

4) Pomegranates -

What sort of utensils are still functional with a hole up to the size a pomegranate?

5) An Asmachta -

Are these measurements considered d'Oraisa or d'Rabanan? The Gemara calls their derivation an "Asmachta"; what does this mean in this context?
