MITZVOS OF THE NIGHT

1) והגיענו הלילה הזה, לאכל בו מצה ומרור -

Why are the Mitzvos of Pesach to be performed specifically at night? On other festivals, the Mitzvos must be performed by day (e.g. Shofar, Lulav)!

2) לאכל בו מצה ומרור -

What are some of the lessons we should contemplate when eating the Matzah and Maror (and during the times of the Mikdash, the Korban Pesach)?

1. Yosef Da'as to Pesachim 115:p2, ד"ה זו היא, til p3

3) ונאכל שם מן הזבחים ומן הפסחים -

"Zevachim" refers to the Korban Chagigah brought on the 14th of Nisan. What is the source for bringing such a Korban? Why is it eaten specifically before eating the Korban Pesach? Is it brought when Pesach falls on Motza'ei Shabbos?

REDEMPTION - PAST AND FUTURE

4) Structure of the blessing -

This blessing includes both praise for the past Redemption, and our request for the future. What Halachos can we learn from the structure of this blessing?

5) ונודה לך שיר חדש -

Why, in this blessing, do we refer to our future song as "Shir Chadash" in the masculine; whereas in the paragraph "Lefichach" (which introduced Hallel) we called it a "Shirah Chadashah," in the feminine?

BOREI PRI HA'GAFEN

6) A repeated Berachah -

Why do we repeat "Borei Pri ha'Gafen" over the second cup of wine (according to Ashkenaz practice)? We have already recited it over the first cup, at Kiddush!
