The Real Treasure -
Why did the Kohanim return the keys of the Heichal - rather than the keys to the Azarah? What does it mean to be a "treasurer" of the Heichal? Why did Heaven take the keys back?

The Death of the Kohanim -
After returning the keys, the Kohanim leaped into the flames and died. Were the Kohanim wrong in killing themselves, or was there some Halachic basis for their action?
