Read More - Rav says that if Eliyahu ha'Navi will arrive and say that Chalitzah may be done with a Min'al (a shoe with soft leather), we will listen to him, but if he will say that we may not do Chalitzah with a Sandal (a shoe with tough leather), we will not listen to him, because the prevalent Minhag is to do Chalitzah with a Sandal.
