1)

Why did she say "Emtza Chen"? Bo'az already explained why she has grace in his eyes!

1.

Malbim: She prayed that this will continue in the future.

2)

What was her consolation?

1.

Malbim: His first Dibur informed her that he will draw her close, and she will be financed from Leket of his fields. This consoled her from the death of her husband, which left her without financial support. Refer to 2:13:3:3.

3)

Why did she say "I will not be like one of your Shifchos"?

1.

Rashi: I am not as esteemed as one of your Shifchos.

2.

Vilna Gaon: From your words of consolation, I see that I will not be one of your Shifchos, rather, a wife, and I will be a mistress 1 .

3.

Malbim: His second Dibur "Al Lev Shifchasecha" showed that he considers her like one of his Shifchos who accepted the creed of Yisrael, like the law of a Shifchah in a Yisrael's house. You told them that their reward for converting 2 is guaranteed from Hashem, and so you told me. I consider myself lower than one of your Shifchos!

1

The Vilna Gaon (11) explained, Bo'az needed to clarify whether an Amonis is forbidden. If so, how could Rus infer that he will marry her? (PF)

2

Becoming an [Eved or] Shifchah Kena'anis is like partial conversion; the slave accepts all Mitzvos of women. (PF)
