What does this Mizmor discuss?

Malbim: Also this discusses Galus. It mentions wonders that He did for them in the old days, and requests that He save them again, for they trust only in Him. It tells all the afflictions that passed over them in their exile, and with all these, they did not retract from their Emunah. Therefore, it is proper that He redeem them, for the sake of His Chesed. He prays for this (a) for Kevod Hashem, lest it be profaned; (b) due to their great Emunah; (c) due to Hashem's Chesed. Whoever is lower, Hashem's Chesed with him is greater - "Ki Shachah le'Afar Nafshenu;
