Why does he contemplate the Pikudim?

1.

Radak: They are planted on intellect.

2.

Malbim: Pikudim stand against false mindsets in Emunah - "Taflu Alai Sheker Ani b'Chol Lev Etzor Pikudecha" (69), "Yevoshu Zedim Ki Sheker Ivesuni Ani Asi'ach b'Fikudecha" (78). Not only are they against Derech ha'Sheker, which is exposed. 1.

Radak: Intellect distances it.
