Redak: The Sefer interrupted to teach about the Mishmaros of Kohanim and Leviyim in Yerushalayim. Now it returns to teach the lineage of Sha'ul, and how the kingship transferred to David. From now and onwards, it discusses Malchei Yehudah, until Galus.

Malbim: It is not known why it is repeated, and only until Bnei Atzel (44).
