Who was Shacharayim, and what does the verse teach about him?
'Rashi': He was one of the exiles. He fathered these after he was sent from Galus.
Radak: He was a descendant of Binyamin not mentioned above. He went to Sede Mo'av due to famine or another reason. He fathered children from all of his wives.
Radak (9): After he sent (exiled) Roshei Avos to Manachas, he went to Sede Mo'av, and fathered children from his two wives.
Malbim #1: Also he was Echud's son. He was born in Sede Mo'av; Echud's first two sons were born in Manachas.
Malbim #2: Based on what I wrote on verse 11, Shacharayim fathered from his wife 'Shilcho Osam'; he had also two other wives.
Who were the wives?
'Rashi', Radak (9): Shacharayim's wives were Chushim and Bara.
Radak: Shacharayim's wives' names were 'Shilcho Osam', Chushim and Bara. "Min" refers also to Chushim (he fathered also via her). "V'Es Bara" is like Min Bara (he fathered also via her). "K'Tzeisi Es ha'Ir" is like Min ha'Ir. The Sefer does not list Bara's children - perhaps they were not esteemed or Roshei Avos.
Malbim #1: Echud's wives names were 'Shilcho Osam', Chushim and Es Bara. We find that Es is part of a name - refer to 2:18:2:4. Do not be astounded at Shilcho Osam - we find names like this. Each gave birth to one of the three sons above.
Malbim #2: These were Shacharayim's wives.
