Here it says "v'Chol ha'Ba Al Lev Shlomo." In Melachim I, 9:1 it says "Kol Cheshek Shlomo Asher Chafetz La'asos"!

Malbim: Ezra fixed this, for Shlomo built many buildings after this 1 ! Rather, e succeeded in all that he wanted to do with these two buildings (the Beis ha'Mikdash, and Beis ha'Melech), which were primary in his eyes.

Malbim (Melachim I, 9:1): He built them without need, just due to desire to do many things, like he wrote "Higdalti Ma'asai Banisi Li Batim" (Koheles 2:4).
