What is the significance of the king's seventh year?

1.

Rashi: It was one year after the Bayis was finished.

2.

Malbim (8) #1: According to Chazal, that the king's years are counted from Nisan (even though normally, Nochrim's years are counted from Tishrei, because he was a proper king), this is the first day of his seventh year. The coming verse discusses the middle of his seventh year.

3.

Malbim (8) #2: Simply, we can say that kings counted their years from day to day. He became king in the second day of the fifth month, and when they came to Yerushalayim, his seventh year finished. The next day began his eighth year.
