Are Asir (7), Elkanah and Avi'asaf successive generations?

Redak: Even though the other times it says Bno here, it is the son of the previous man, here all three are Korach's sons, like it says "u'Vnei Korach Asir Elkanah v'Avi'asaf" (Shemos 6:24). Also below (22), it says "Avi'asaf ben Korach."

Is this the same Asir as in the previous verse?

Malbim: No. This is Avi'asaf's son, like we find "Asir ben Avi'asaf ben Korach" (22).
