Who are "ha'Menadim l'Yom Ra"?
Rashi citing Vayikra Rabah 5:3: You move yourselves to a day of evil.
Rashi: You belittle the Nevu'ah of days of evil that the Nevi'im prophesize for you.
Radak: They distance the future evil day, and say that the Nevu'ah about it is for the distant future.
Malbim: These nations strove to move and distance Yom ha'Ra, so it will not reach their border quickly.
What is the meaning of "va'Tagishun Sheves Chamas"?
Rashi citing Vayikra Rabah 5:3: You bring yourselves close to dwelling in Galus that will extort You ? "me'Chamas Achicha Yakov" (Ovadyah 1:10).
Rashi: This is like Yeshayah said "Hoy Magi'ei Bayis b'Vayis" (Yeshayah 5:8). You make the dwellings of your houses approach each other via theft (from those who own the property in between).
Radak: You distance the day of punishment (say that it is in the distant future), and bring close dwelling of theft ? you sit in the gate to judge theft and injustice.
Malbim: You bring close eradication [due to] theft, with your evil deeds. You cause the Chamas of Melech Ashur to come quickly. He will eradicate you from being a nation.
