What does the first "Ein" teach?
Malbim: It refers to below - we did not remove our clothes. The word is repeated.
Why did they not remove their clothes?
Rashi: They guarded zealously, constantly.
What do we learn from "Ish Shilcho ha'Mayim"?
Rashi: This refers to "Ein" above. This is like "Yetzei Asak mi'Pichem" (it refers to "Al" earlier in that verse). No one removed his garment to lie down or wash 1 it in water. This is a repetition of "Ein Anachnu Poshetim." Shilcho is removing one's garment. The Targum of "u'Fashat Es Begadav" is v'Yashlach.
Ibn Ezra#1: Shilcho is his sword. They did not remove their garments or put down their weapons. When they went to the Mishteh 2 at night, their weapons were in their hands.
Ibn Ezra #2: Shilcho is removing one's garment, like the Targum of "u'Fashat Es Begadav." They removed their garments only to bathe or immerse. This Perush is primary.
