Ibn Ezra: I say that Potifar was a cook. In Leshon ha'Kodesh, Tabach can be an executioner, or a cook, like "Tevo'ach Tevach v'Hachen." Due to esteem, Pharaoh did not put the baker and wine steward in jail rather, in their colleague's house.
