What do we learn from "Toras Emes Haysah b'Fihu"?

1.

Radak: Just like Hashem's Torah was in [Pinchas'] mouth - he taught the Rabim, so it was in his heart. This is Toras Emes - his mouth was not unlike his heart. Also "v'Avlah Lo Nimtza vi'Sefasav."

2.

Malbim: Via fixing Yir'as Hashem in his heart, he will guard Divrei Hashem, both regarding Torah, and actions and conduct. The Torah that he learned was Emes, like what was received at Sinai.

What do we learn from "v'Avlah Lo Nimtza vi'Sefasav"?

1.

Refer to 2:6:1:1.

2.

Malbim: He taught to others like the Halachah. Safah (lip) is more external than the mouth. It hints to what he taught to others. The mouth pertains to Chochmah, what he can know only via receiving from others. The lips pertain to Da'as - what intellect understands, via the senses or axioms. He knows them clearly. To err in investigation or make deceptive comparisons, this is Avlah.

Who "b'Shalom uv'Mishor Halach Iti", and how?

1.

Rashi: Aharon, Elazar and Pinchas, and in the episode of the Egel, they returned their entire Shevet from sin - "va'Ye'asfu Elav Kol Bnei Levi" (Shemos 32:26).

2.

Radak: Pinchas clung to Me to do My desire - "Ya'aseh Shalom Li" (Yeshayah 27:5). Mishor - he went in the way of people, the straight path. Both of these were "Iti" - "Oseh Chesed Mishpat u'Tzedakah ba'Aretz Ki v'Eleh Chafatzti" (Yirmeyahu 9:23).

3.

Malbim: In matters Bein Adam la'Makom, he did not veer from Hashem's Mitzvos to argue with them.

4)

How did he return many from sin?

1.

Refer to 2:6:3:1.

2.

Radak: He constantly taught Torah to everyone, and many heeded him.

3.

Malbim: Via his rebuke and Musar.
