Why does the Torah mention Yosef in connection with Gadi ben Sodi of the tribe of Menasheh and not in connection with Hoshe'a bin Nun of the tribe of Efrayim?

Rashi (in Seifer ha'Pardes) and Ramban (in Bamidbar, 1:32): Because Gadi ben Sodi, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Yosef - who spoke Lashon ha'Ra about his brothers - spoke Lashon ha'Ra about Eretz Yisrael, but Hoshe'a bin Nun did not. 1
