Why did He say "Lo Sa'alu" and "v'Lo Silachamu"?

1.

Malbim: Do not go to fight them in their cities, and do not invite them for war. Malbim (Melachim I, 12:24) ? this is like "Lechah Nisra'eh Fanim" (Melachim II, 14:8).

2)

If they return to their houses, perhaps Yaravam will attack them!

1.

Refer to Melachim I, 12:24:2:1.

3)

Here it says "va'Yashuvu mi'Leches." In Melachim I, 12:24 it says "va'Yashuvu Laleches"!

1.

Malbim: "Va'Yashuvu mi'Leches" corresponds to "Lo Sa'alu." "Va'Yashuvu Laleches" corresponds to "v'Lo Silachamu."

2.

Malbim (Melachim I, 12:24): Here it teaches that they did not go to fight. There it teaches that they returned to their houses.
