  • If there are two adjacent blisters on the lung of an animal, the animal is a Tereifah. If it is only one blister that appears like two, it must be checked to determine whether the animal is a Tereifah.

  • An animal's lung has three lobes on the right side and two on the left side. If the number of lobes is reversed, or if one is missing, the animal is a Tereifah.
