- Summary of the Daf
- One who inherits a Korban performs Semichah. If he makes a Temurah from the Korban, the Temurah becomes sanctified, according to the Tana of the Mishnah. Rebbi Yehudah disagrees.
Read More - One may not perform Semichah on the Korban of his friend. No Semichah is done on the Korban of a Nochri.
Read More - If a woman makes a Temurah, it has sanctity.
Read More - Anyone may perform Semichah, with the exception of a deaf-mute, a blind person, an insane person, a Katan, a Nochri, a servant, a Shali'ach, and a woman.
Read More - Semichah is done with both hands on the head of the animal. The Shechitah is done in the same place as the Semichah.
Read More - If one failed to do Semichah or Tenufah, the Korban is valid.
Read More - The Semichah must be done on the head and not on the neck, back, chest, or the sides of the head of the animal.
