What do we learn from "Yesh Mefazer v'Nosaf Od"?

1.

Brachos 63a: If you see that the generation values Torah, disseminate. If the generation does not value Torah, refrain - "Es La'asos la'Shem Heferu Torasecha" (Tehilim 119:126).

2.

Rashi: Some scatter their money, e.g. for Tzedakah, and it increases.

3.

Orchos Tzadikim (Sha'ar ha'Nedivus): One who has the Midah of generosity, he will become rich.

4.

Malbim: Chachamim said that it is good to choose the middle path. Generosity is intermediate between being a squanderer and a miser; both of them are not good. One who squanders should not squander more than a fifth (Kesuvos 50a). People think that it is better to lean towards stinginess than towards squandering; the former will keep his money, and not lose it. Shlomo teaches oppositely. A squanderer does not always lose his money - sometimes it increases, for he becomes known as one of the wealthy of the land. All will lend to him; they will trust him. Via this, the honor of his wealth will increase!

What is the meaning of "v'Choshech mi'Yosher Ach l'Machsor"?

1.

Rashi: He refrains from straightness, but it is a lack of him.

2.

Malbim: One who gives less than is proper, due to stinginess, he will always lack. People will evade him, and his money will be depleted because (a) no one does business with him, or (b) as a punishment from Hashem - "Ish Asher Yiten Lo Elokim Osher
