What is "Kesher Nevi'eha"?

Rashi: [The false Nevi'im] are tied together with evil counsel.

Radak: The false Nevi'im made a conspiracy to prophesize the same matter, that there will be Shalom.

Malbim: The verses discuss the four kinds of Sigim. Nechoshes (copper) is a band of false Nevi'im who engage in Nichush and sorcery.

What do we learn from "ka'Ari Sho'eg Toref Taref"?

Radak: Just like a lion roars and afterwards tears prey, so they confound the nation with their words and loud screams. They speak forcefully and show their claims to confound the nation to heed them. Via this, they tear and kill them.

Malbim: When a lion roars, it has prey ? "ha'Yish'ag Arye ba'Ya'ar v'Teref Ein Lo" (Amos 3:4). Also them, when they roared and prophesized, they tore prey. However, a lion tears flesh and body, and they consume the Nefesh.

What Nefesh did they consume?

Rashi: They took bribes and supported evildoers to kill and plunder, and they prophesize Shalom for them.

Radak: It is as if they consume [the nation], for they cause all this evil that comes upon them.

Malbim: They consumed the spiritual Nefesh; they caused them to sin against their Nefashos.

What is "Chosen"?

1.

Rashi: It is wealth.

2.

Radak: It is a storehouse, like "Lo Ye'atzer v'Lo Yechasen" (Yeshayah 23:18).

How do they take the Chosen and Yakar?

1.

Radak: They support their evil deeds. The punishment for this is that the enemy will come upon them and take all their desired matters.

Malbim: "Ha'Noshechim b'Shineihem v'Kar'u Shalom" (Michah 3:5).

How did they increase widows?

1.

Radak, Malbim: They caused men to fall to the sword.
