What is the meaning of "v'Samti Es ha'Tzole'a li'Sh'eris"?
Radak: They will not be eradicated in Galus. Rather, a remnant will remain that will return to their land at that time.
Malbim: The 10 tribes, which were called Tzole'a, were lost from Klal Yisrael. It is as if they do not exist at all. Or, they did not persist in their Emunah, and they became like Nochrim. I will make them a remnant of Yisrael, and they will be revealed.
Who are "veha'Nahala'ah"?
Radak, Targum Yonasan: It is ha'Nidachah mentioned (6). The word is based on Hal'ah, which is far in place and time.
Radak citing his father: It is the strong, fat [animal] that goes in front of the flock, because it is so strong. The Tzole'a, which cannot walk, I will strengthen it; the Nahala'ah, I will increase its strength and make it an awesome nation.
Malbim: Yehudah, which were She'eris Yisrael, just they were pushed far away, from nation to nation and from place to place, They were very weak due to killings and being confounded. I will make them an awesome nation.
What are the consequences of "u'Malach Hashem Aleihem"?
Malbim: (a) They will be under Hashem's kingship and Hashgachah. (b) The kingship will be in Har Tziyon. (c) It will be from now and forever ? from the time of Ge'ulah until eternity. They will not be exiled again.
