What is the meaning of "Al Tatifu Yatifun"?
Rashi: Do not prophesize to rebuke them. I tell you Nevi'im, that you constantly do so. Tatifu is an expression of Nevu'ah, e.g. "v'Lo Satif Al Beis Yischak" (Amos 7:16), "v'Hatef El Darom" (Yechezkel 21:2).
Radak: It is flowing speech, like "v'Aleimo Titof Milasi" (Iyov 29:22). It is a borrowed expression ? Yisrael tell Hashem's Navi "Al Tatifu" ? do not mention Hashem's words to us, for we do not heed you.
Malbim: He rebukes them for not wanting to listen to the true Nevi'im. Beis Yakov tell the Nevi'im "Al Tatifu Yatifun" ? do not tell your Nevu'os of rebuke or future afflictions, which Nevi'im often give. We do not want to hear such Nevu'os.
Why does it add "Lo Yatifu la'Eleh Lo Yisag Kelimos"?
Rashi: They will shame you ? "Al Tochach Letz" (Mishlei 9:8). Radak ? Yisag is attaining. Here it is written with a Samech (normally, it is with a Sin). We find like this in Hif'il conjugation ? "Arur Masig Gevul Re'ehu" (Devarim 27:17) and similar verses.
Radak: Do not speak to these people, lest you be shamed.
Malbim: Do not rebuke for sins to publicize the shame of the nation and their evil deeds. Such shame and disgrace Lo Yisogu Achor (will not depart); it will remain for eternal disgrace ? "v'Cherpaso Lo Simacheh" (Mishlei 6:33).
