What is the meaning of "v'Atah Chalu Na Fnei Kel"?
Rashi: You Kohanim who do this evil - how does it cross your minds to be Sheluchim of Yisrael to request mercy for them? This evil is "from your hands"!
Radak: If you will repent, and seek His face with your heart, He will still have grace on you and benefit you.
Malbim: If a human would not accept such a gift, how do you seek Kel's face with such a gift - will He have grace on us do to it?!
Why does it say "vi'Ychanenu"?
Radak: The Navi is pained in their pain; he includes himself in the Klal of Yisrael, like Moshe said "v'Salachta la'Avoneinu ul'Chataseinu" (Shemos 34:9, even though he had no part in Chet ha'Egel). Moshe learned from Hashem, who told him "Ad Anah Me'antem Lishmor Mitzvosai v'Sorosai 1 " (ibid. 16:28).
Malbim: Refer to 1:9:1:3.
This is unlike the opinions that Moshe was at fault. Refer to Shemos 16:28:1:2-3. (PF)
What do we learn from "mi'Yedchem Haysah Zos"?
Radak: This curse that you have - "v'Gam Arosiha" (2:2), it is from you. He sent it because you do evil in His eyes!
Malbim: Since you [Kohanim] caused His anger, how do you think that He will show favoritism to you?!
Why does it say "ha'Yisa Mikem Panim"?
Rashi: Will He hear Tefilah from your mouths, and have grace on those who sent you?!
Radak: Do you think that He will show favor to one of you, and not rebuke you for your evil deeds? He will not do so, for He does not show favoritism or accept bribes!
Radak citing Targum Yonasan: Will He show favoritism to you? Also Unkelos translates "Asher Lo Yisa Fanim" (Devarim 10:17) 'there is no favoritism in front of Him.' It is improper to attribute this to Him.
Malbim: Refer to 1:9:3:2.
