What is the meaning of "v'Afu v'Chasef Pelishtim Yamah"?

1.

Rashi, based on Targum Yonasan: Yisrael will 'fly' and run together against Pelishtim 1 who are in the west of Eretz Yisrael, and conquer their land. This is like "Derech Yeratzechu Shechmah" (Hoshe'a 6:9), "Shechem Echad" (Tzefanyah 3:9).

2.

Radak #1: They will move to the side of Pelishtim in the west of Eretz Yisrael 2 .

3.

Radak #2: They will be Ayef (tired) from striking Kasef Pelishtim.

1

Radak: To strike and plunder them.

2

Radak says 'this is like Targum Yonasan.' Perhaps his text of Yonason was different. It is hard to say that he means that "Yamah" is in the west, like Yonason translates. We know this already from "u'Faratzta Yamah va'Kedmah v'Tzafonah va'Negbah" (Bereishis 28:14)! (PF)

2)

Do "Edom", "Mo'av" and "Amon" refers to these nations?

1.

Radak: No. All the nations other than Yisrael were mixed. Here it refers to those who live in the lands [that used to be] of them 1 . The verse mentions places close to Eretz Yisrael, but also all nations will be under Yisrael's hand.

1

Radak: Also "v'Eleh Yimalto mi'Yado Edom u'Mo'av v'Reishis Bnei Amon" (Daniel 11:41) means like this. Malbim - Edom and Mo'av are in the south, and Amon is in the north. ("Atah Over

3)

Why does it say "Mishlo'ach Yadam"?

1.

Radak: Yisrael will send their hands on all that they want.

2.

Malbim: [Yisrael's] authority extends until there.

4)

What is the meaning of "u'Vnei Amon Mishmatam"?

1.

Rashi citing Targum Yonasan: They will obey them. They will accept their commands on them.
