'I am Mudar from you' - R. Yosi ben Chaninah says, both of them are forbidden to [benefit from] each other. It is as if he said '[you are forbidden to benefit from me,] and I from you.'

If he said 'this loaf is Nadur from me', (surely he means) 'and I from it', [i.e.] 'I am Nadur from this loaf, and it from me.' (PNEI MOSHE)

The same applies whether he said '[I am Mudar] Heimach' or 'Mimcha', or 'I am to you', 'I am Alecha', 'you are to me', or 'you are Alai' (both are forbidden to each other).

(Beraisa): 'I am Kaluy from you' or 'I am separated from you' (these are Yados for Nedarim, i.e. the start of a Neder; it is as if he finished and said 'that I will not eat from you.')

Question (R. Yirmeyah): Why was it not taught 'Natul'?

Answer (R. Yosi): It was taught at the end [of our Maseches] 'I am Netulah from the Yehudim' (this is like a Neder not to have Bi'ah with any Yisrael).

'That I will eat not Lecha (from you)', or 'that I will not taste Lecha' - R. Lazar citing R. Hoshayah said, we obligate him due to a Yad for Shevu'ah.

Question (R. Bun bar Chiyah): 'That I will eat not Lecha (from you)', or 'that I will not taste Lecha' - do we obligate him due to a Yad for Shevu'ah?

Answer (R. Yosi): It is normal for one to say 'Shevu'ah, that I will eat not Lecha.' Does a person say 'I will eat not Lecha, Shevu'ah'?! (Therefore, it is not a Yad for Shevu'ah.)

Support (R. Masniyah): It is normal for one to say 'the handle of tongs.' Does a person say 'tongs of the handle'?! (One does not reverse the order of words!)
