(1) In addition to the view of Rebbi Akiva in the Mishnah, Rebbi Akiva has a question with regard to one who performs two Toldos of a single Av Melachah. Rebbi Eliezer rules that in such a case one would be Chayav two Chata'os. Rebbi Akiva argues with Rebbi Eliezer on this point and maintains that one would be Chayav only one Chatas. All agree that Rebbi Akiva did not eventually capitulate on this point.

(2) Rebbi Akiva ruled l'Kula (leniently), while Rebbi Eliezer ruled l'Chumra.

(3) See Insights.

(4) This is the Rambam's ruling (Perush ha'Mishnayos; Hilchos Shegagos 7:8-9).
