menashe ha levi asked:

in the gemarah the question is asked what if there is a half kav in two amot and some comentaries explan that when they say two amot they mean two by four instead of two by two if it is true that the area is in fact two by four amot why wouldent the person that left the one amah in the begining take it because within the one kav and four amot there is half a kav and two by four amot?

thanks for your help in this question hatzlaha in your torah study and col tov. thank you

The Kollel replies:

If I undestand your question correctly, it is the question of Tosfos. Tosfos answers that when the total job is smaller, then the person is more likely to do it.
