In the context of the daf, how is it possible to justify this girsah? (should be umadliko umeinicho!)
The Kollel replies:
The Ritva indeed has your text of "u'Madlikah (v'Chozer) u'Meinichah." However, he says that the text of our Gemara is according to Tosfos. He explains that this text holds that one must first put it down in order to clearly show the purpose of the lighting.
