I assume that you are asking according to Rashi's opinion, who maintains that a single messenger saying Yodanu/ti is OK. Rashi seems to be saying that "Yodati/nu" is in essence the same thing as saying "B'fonai Nictav u'B'fonai Nechtam", (according to Rova who associates "B'fonai Nictav u'B'fonai Nechtam" with validating the Get (Kiyum Sh'taros)). Mashana Mitbea Shatuvu Chachumim applies if neither B'fonai Nictav u'B'fonai Nechtam or Yodati/nu was said.
