The Mishnah taught: Sharecroppers (cannot create a chazakah).

Rav Huna: This refers to a long term sharecropper, but a temporary one can create a chazakah.

R. Yochanan and Reish Lakish: Even a temporary sharecropper cannot create a chazakah, as the owner can say that since he was happy with the sharecropper's work, he continued to let the sharecropper work there for a longer period of time.
