What is the meaning of "va'Ya'amed Es Panav"?

1.

Rashi: He held back his pained countenance. He wanted to cry, but did not want to cry in front of Chaza'el.

What is the meaning of "Ad Bosh"?

1.

Rashi: This is like "Boshesh" (Shemos 32:1; he delayed). He could not hold it in longer, and cried. Radak - it is past tense; the middle letter of the root (Vov) has no vowel, like "ha'Boker Or" (Bereishis 46:3). "Boshesh" is a four-letter root, like "Konen" (Yeshayah 51:13).

2.

Radak, Malbim, both citing Targum Yonasan: He delayed a long time [before crying].
