How can the Kohen be certain that the Nega did not diminish to less than the Shi'ur of two Gerisim between the time that he sees the Nega and closes the door of the house?
Chulin, 19b: Indeed, we learn from here the principle of Chazakah ? to presume that something has remained the way it was it was last seen. 1

What are the implications of "Veyatza ha'Kohen min ha'Bayis el Pesach ha'Bayis"?
Nega'im, 12:6: It implies on the one hand, that as soon as he leaves the stricken house he is obligated to close the door ? and not after he arrives in his own house (by means of a long cord 1 ); on the other, not to close the door until he is standing at the entrance of the house - and not whilst he is still inside.
