1. If the Korban ha'Omer became Tamei before it offered, one should bring a new one if possible.
2. The Gemara discusses other Minchah offerings that have a similar status (to #1).
3. If blood from a Korban became Tamei, it should not be sprinkled on the Mizbe'ach.
4. The Tzitz atones for Tum'ah in the case of an individual's Korban.
5. There is a dispute about whether the Tzitz must be on the forehead of the Kohen Gadol in order to provide atonement.


1. If it is too difficult, we tell the Kohen to bring it anyway, because a public Korban may be offered in a state of Tum'ah. However, it is preferable that it be Tahor so that it may be eaten.
2. This is also the law for the Minchah offering that accompanies a Par Avodah Zarah (a bull brought as atonement when the entire Tzibur accidentally served Avodah Zarah), the Minchah offering that accompanies the ram of the Kohen Gadol brought on Yom Kippur, and the Minchah offering accompanying the sheep offering brought with the Korban ha'Omer.
3. If the blood was sprinkled accidentally, it provides atonement. If one sprinkled the blood knowing that it was Tamei, the Rabanan decreed that it does not provide atonement.
4. There is no need for it to provide atonement for Tum'ah in the case of a public Korban, according to the opinion that Tum'ah is permitted ("Hutrah") for public Korbanos.
5. Rebbi Shimon: It does not need to be on his forehead when the Tum'ah occurs in order to provide atonement. Rebbi Yehudah: It atones only when it is on his forehead.
