While learning the Gemara in Kiddushin 41a, near the bottom of the daf, I came across the discussion about the source of the concept of shlichut (agency). The Gemara brings the pasuk "v'shilcha" (åÀùÄÑìÀçÈäÌ) to teach that one can appoint an agent, that a woman can also appoint an agent, and that even an agent can appoint another agent. On this, Rashi comments that the Torah writes it "twice" regarding this matter.

I wanted to share a thought and ask for your input:

Upon closer examination of the word "v'shilcha", it seems to contain within it two distinct words:

1. Shalach (שלח) - "to send," which might represent the principal's power to appoint an agent.

2. Shilcha (שילח) - a possessive or personalized form of sending, possibly representing the agent's ability to send another agent.

Since both of these words are embedded within a single word, perhaps this could be the "two times" that Rashi is referring to-both the principal's appointment of an agent and the agent's ability to appoint another agent.

Furthermore, while the word "v'shilcha" appears twice in this section with that specific vowelization, it also appears later without the vav. Additionally, the same letters (vav-shin-lamed-yud-ches-hey) appear elsewhere in Tanach with a different vowelization. This suggests that the significance cannot simply lie in the word's repetition, but rather in its specific vowelization, which may serve as the source for this teaching.

I would greatly appreciate your thoughts on this suggestion and whether it aligns with or adds any insight to the understanding of the Gemara's discussion.
