 DAF DISCUSSIONS - MAKOS 17
1. Benzi asks:

The gemara says v'Nidvoshecha Zu Todah v'Shelemaim and the gemara says that reb shimon is teaching us that you get malkus if you eat these korbankos before doing zerika.

Now Rashi says that the lav here is not explicit in the passuk, all there is, is an aseh of v'Dam Zevachecha Yishafech and then v'ha'Basar Tochal. My question is that where did Rashi get it from that this passuk of v'Dam Zevachecha Yishafech is speaking about a todah and shlamim but lichoreh this lav is speaking about any Korban that u can't eat it before doing zerika so why did we have to use this lav for todah and shlamim we could have used it for any korban?

2. The Kollel replies:

Dam Zevachecha Yishafech does apply to all Korbanos- it is forbidden to eat before Zerika because of Bitul Aseh.

Only here and now, Lo Suchal teaches a Lav- Lo Saaseh. (Rashi comments- don't think that we know a Lav already, until now we only knew a Aseh) The Gemara itself says that Nidvosecha means Shelamim (other Korbanos are listed with other words).

Is this enough explanation?

All the best,
