Benzi asks:
Rashi says DH Kol Lo Ta'aseh that she'Nitak ha'Kasuv Es ha'Aseh l'Hyos Onsho Shel Lav v'TIkino. What does Rashi mean when he says that the Aseh is a punishment for the Lav but what sort of punishment is it?

The Kollel replies:
Sholom Rav.
What Rashi means is that, in reality, he is Chayav Malkos for transgressing the La'av, only the Torah prescribed an Asei in place of the punishment. It is as if fulfilling the Asei is the punishment for having transgressed.
