Rebbi: I searched, but I did not find other words of [R. Elazar] ben Shamu'a about Androginus (whether he considers him a Vadai male in other ways, or only for Skilah, due to the verse). A group [of R. Elazar's Talmidim] came upon [Rebbi, and did not let him go to learn from R. Elazar].

Question: What is the reason - not to reveal [R. Elazar' opinion], or because [they thought that Rebbi] is not worthy [to learn from him]?

Question: What is the difference between these reasons?

Answer: If [R. Elazar] normally revealed - if you will say that it is not to reveal, [you cannot say so, for] it is revealed!

Answer: The reason is because [they thought that Rebbi] is not worthy.

Question: What was there to reveal [about his opinion]?

Answer: [An Androginus] inherits, testifies, his Minchah is totally offered [if he is a Kohen], and we make a Zimun with him [like a Vadai male].
