(Mishnah): Spices of two or three Shemos (Isurim), from one species or from three species, forbid and join;

R. Shimon says, two or three Shemos from one species or from two species or from three species do not join.

(Gemara) Question: Granted, two Shemos from one species [join. Why do] two species from one Shem [join? Different species do not strengthen each other, rather, they are Mevatel each other!]
