(8) The Amora'im (116a-b) disagree whether she is suspected of lying only when there was a quarrel between them, or whether she is suspected of saying that he died based on surmise and unfounded assumptions ("bid'Dami"). However, some Rishonim maintain that there is no disagreement about this point; see Insights to 116a.
