(2) This is because it is Kadosh with Kedushas ha'Guf, since a female is fit to be an Olas ha'Of (and also because its value is fit to be used to be used to buy an Olah; see Insights to 12b).
(3) Rebbi Shimon ben Yehudah maintains that it is *only* Kadosh with Kedushas Damim and not with Kedushas ha'Guf, since it is not fit to be used for the Korban for which it was designated.
