SUMMARY

1. If the Kohen performs Kemitzah with intent to eat an olive's size of the Shirayim, and half an olive's size of the Kometz, on the following day, the Minchah is valid, according to the Chachamim.

2. If the Kohen performs Kemitzah with intent to eat half an olive's size, and to burn half an olive's size, the following day, the Minchah is valid.

3. If the Kohen performs Kemitzah with intent to burn the Levonah on the following day, Rebbi Yosi maintains that the Minchah is Pasul, but one who eats it is not Chayav Kares.

4. The Rabanan disagree with Rebbi Yosi. They maintain that the Minchah is Pigul and there is a Chiyuv Kares.

5. Rebbi Yanai says that if a non-Kohen collects the Levonah of a Minchah, it is Pasul.

6. If one slaughtered the two Kivsei Atzeres with intent to eat one of the two loaves of the Shtei ha'Lechem on the following day, that loaf is Pigul. The other loaf is Pasul but not Pigul, according to Rebbi Yosi.

7. The Rabanan disagree with Rebbi Yosi and maintain that both loaves are Pigul.

8. Rav Huna says that according to Rebbi Yosi, if the Kohen slaughters a Korban with intent to eat the right thigh of the Korban after the allotted time, only the right thigh is Pigul, but not the left thigh.

9. If the Kohen slaughtered the two Kivsei Atzeres with intent to eat an olive's size from the two loaves of the Shtei ha'Lechem on the following day, both loaves are Pigul, even according to Rebbi Yosi.

A BIT MORE

1. Since the Kometz is something that is not normally eaten, the Kohen's intention is not a Machshavah of Pigul, according to the Chachamim. However, according to Rebbi Eliezer, the Minchah is Pasul, because even intention to eat something that is not normally eaten constitutes a Machshavah of Pesul, according to Rebbi Eliezer.

2. The Kohen's intention is to eat half an olive's size of a portion of the Minchah which is normally eaten, and to burn another half an olive's size of a portion of the Minchah which is normally burned. It is valid, because a Machshavah of Achilah and a Machshavah of Haktarah do not combine to make the minimum Shi'ur of an olive's size.

3. According to Rebbi Yosi, a thought of Pigul during the Kemitzah, which is Matir the Shirayim of the Minchah, cannot be Mefagel the Levonah, since the Levonah is also a Matir. The Levonah is not dependent on the Kemitzah, since the Kohen may choose to burn the Levonah on the Mizbe'ach before he burns the Kometz.

4. According to the Rabanan, since the Kometz and the Levonah are placed in the same Kli, one Matir may be Mefagel the other Matir.

5. Holachah is one of the four Avodos, and thus it is Pasul when done by a non-Kohen. When the non-Kohen collects the Levonah and passes it to the Kohen, he lessens the Holachah for the Kohen. According to Rebbi Yanai, merely passing the Levonah without moving one's feet is considered an act of Holachah.

6. The Shechitah of the two Kivsei Atzeres is Matir the Shtei ha'Lechem to be eaten. If one slaughters them with a Machshavah of Pigul, they are Pasul. According to Rebbi Yosi, each of the loaves of the Shtei ha'Lechem is independent of the other. Therefore, one can become Pigul without the other.

7. According to the Rabanan, a Machshavah of Pigul for one of the loaves renders both loaves Pigul.

8. With regard to Tum'ah, each thigh is a separate entity. If one thigh becomes Tamei after it was separated from the animal, the other thigh remains Tahor. The same applies with regard to Pigul; each thigh is a separate entity.

9. The Kohen intended to eat from both loaves after the allotted time, although he intended to eat an amount less than the size of an olive from each loaf. Nevertheless, since his intent was to eat a combined sum of an olive's size, both loaves are Pigul, even according to Rebbi Yosi.
