SUMMARY

1. The remaining blood of an Olah is poured on the Yesod of the Mizbe'ach.

2. Rav Ada bar Ahavah says that there is a disagreement between Rebbi Yishmael and Rebbi Akiva about whether the failure to pour the remaining blood of a Chatas on the Yesod prevents the atonement of the Korban.

3. Rav Papa says that Rebbi Yishmael and Rebbi Akiva agree that the failure to pour the remaining blood of a Chatas on the Yesod does not prevent the atonement. They disagree about the pressing of the remaining blood of a Chatas ha'Of on the Mizbe'ach.

4. The remaining blood of a Par Kohen Mashi'ach and Par Yom ha'Kipurim must be poured on the Yesod of the Mizbe'ach in the Azarah. Failure to do so does not prevent the atonement of the Korban.

5. If a Kohen places the blood of a Chatas only once on the Mizbe'ach, the Korban atones.

6. If the blood of a Korban which was supposed to be placed on the upper part of the Mizbe'ach was placed on the lower part, or vice versa, the Korban is Pasul.

7. The Tana maintains that if the remaining blood of a Chatas Penimis is not poured on the Yesod, it prevents the atonement of the Korban. If the blood spills after all of the Matanos, a new Par must be brought and the blood must be placed on the Mizbe'ach again.

8. The Se'irim which are brought for the Musafim on Rosh Chodesh and Mo'adim must be slaughtered in the north of the Azarah, and their blood received in a Kli Shares in the north.

A BIT MORE

1. If any blood is left in the utensil after the blood of an Olah is placed on the Mizbe'ach, the remaining blood must be poured on the Yesod of the Mizbe'ach.

2. According to Rebbi Yishmael, pouring the remaining blood of the Chatas on the Yesod does not contribute to the atonement of the Korban. However, failure to do so disqualifies the Korban. Rebbi Akiva maintains that the Korban is valid.

3. According to Rebbi Yishmael, failure to press the remaining blood of a Chatas ha'Of prevents the atonement of the Korban. Rebbi Akiva disagrees. However, according to one opinion in the Beraisa, Rebbi Yishmael maintains that failure to press the remaining blood does not prevent the atonement of the Korban.

4. A Gezeiras ha'Kasuv states that failure to pour the remaining blood on the Yesod does not disqualify the Korban, even though the Torah repeats the Mitzvah of pouring the remaining blood on the Yesod when it could have been derived from a Kal va'Chomer.

5. L'Chatchilah, the blood of a Chatas must be placed on all four corners of the Mizbe'ach. If it is placed only once on the Mizbe'ach, it is valid.

6. If the blood of a Chatas Penimis is placed on the outer Mizbe'ach instead of the inner Mizbe'ach, the Korban is Pasul.

7. Although all of the Matanos have already been done, it is not sufficient to bring a new Par and spill the blood on the Yesod, because that blood is not Shirayim. Instead, the blood of the new Par must be placed on the Mizbe'ach and then the remaining blood is poured on the Yesod.

8. Their blood must be placed on all four corners of the Mizbe'ach.
