SUMMARY

1. Rebbi Shimon says that the laws of Pigul do not apply to any Korban which is not brought on the outside Mizbe'ach like a Shelamim.
 
2. If a Kohen has a Machshavas Pigul when he dips his finger in the blood of a Chatas, the Korban is Pigul if it is a Chatas which is brought inside the Heichal. If it is a Chatas which is brought on the Mizbe'ach in the Azarah, it is not Pigul.
 
3. According to Rebbi Shimon, if the blood of a Korban was brought to the Mizbe'ach with a Machshavas Pigul, the Korban is not Pigul. The Rabanan disagree.
 
4. Rebbi Shimon agrees that if the blood of a Chatas which is offered inside the Heichal is brought to the Mizbe'ach she'Lo Lishmah or with a Machshavas Pigul, the Korban is Pasul. This is because the Holachah is indispensable.
 
5. Rebbi Shimon learns that the laws of Pigul do not apply to any Korban which is not brought on the outer Mizbe'ach. Nevertheless, he agrees that the Korban is Pasul.
 
6. A Pesach and a Chatas may not be offered on a private Bamah even when Bamos are permitted.
 
7. Rebbi Elazar, the son of Rebbi Shimon, maintains that the Korbanos may be slaughtered even between the Ulam and the Mizbe'ach on the north side of the Azarah.
 
8. Rebbi Yehudah maintains that the floor of the Azarah is sanctified. The fats of the Korbanos may be burned on the floor of the Azarah anywhere between the Ulam and the Mizbe'ach.
 
9, Rabah and Rav Yosef say that there is a disagreement between Rebbi Shimon and the Rabanan about whether a non-Kohen may bring the blood of the Korbanos to the Mizbe'ach.
 
10. The Shechitah of a Parah Adumah may be done only by a Kohen.

A BIT MORE

1. The Din of Pigul is found in the Torah in the Parshah of Shelamim. Therefore, Pigul applies only to Korbanos which are brought on the outside Mizbe'ach, similar to a Shelamim. A Chatas which is brought in the Heichal is not similar to a Shelamim, and therefore Pigul does not apply to it, according to Rebbi Shimon.
 
2. Since the Torah does not explicitly state that the Kohen shall dip his finger in the blood of a Chatas brought on the Mizbe'ach in the Azarah, it is not considered an Avodah with regard to Pigul.
 
3. According to Rebbi Shimon, bringing the blood to the Mizbe'ach is not an indispensable Avodah, since it is possible to slaughter the Korban next to the Mizbe'ach. Therefore, a Machshavah of Pigul does not invalidate the Korban.
 
4. A Chatas which is brought inside the Heichal is slaughtered in the Azarah. The blood is sprinkled in the Heichal. Therefore, Holachah is a requisite Avodah for this Korban.
 
5. If the Korban is brought with intent to eat it after the allotted time, it is also Pasul according to Rebbi Shimon.
 
6. Only Korbanos brought as a Neder or a Nedavah may be brought on a Bamas Yachid.
 
7. The Korbanos are slaughtered on the north side of the Azarah. According to the Rabanan, they may not be slaughtered any further west than the end of the Mizbe'ach. Rebbi Elazar, the son of Rebbi Shimon, maintains that the Korbanos may be slaughtered anywhere on the north side of the Azarah, even between the Ulam and the Mizbe'ach.
 
8. Rebbi Shimon agrees with Rebbi Yehudah that if the person bringing the Bazichin from the Shulchan to the Mizbe'ach has a Machshavas Pigul, he invalidates only the Lechem ha'Panim, if he had the Machshavas Pigul while he was in the Ulam. The Holachah in the Heichal is not indispensable, since the Shulchan could have been placed at the entrance of the Heichal. The Holachah in the Azarah also is not indispensable, since he could have burned the Bazichin on the floor of the Azarah immediately upon his arrival in the Azarah.
 
9. According to Rebbi Shimon, Holachah is not an indispensable Avodah, since it is possible to do the Shechitah next to the Mizbe'ach. It is not considered an Avodah and it may be done by a non-Kohen. According to the Rabanan, it is considered an Avodah and it may not be done by a non-Kohen. However, Ula says that the Holachah may not be done by a non-Kohen, even according to Rebbi Shimon.
 
10. The Parah Adumah is Kodshei Bedek ha'Bayis, not Kodshei Mizbe'ach. Nevertheless, since the Torah states "Elazar" and "Chukah," the Shechitah may be done only by a Kohen.
