SUMMARY

1. The Mishnah records a dispute about how large a stone must be in order for one to be liable for carrying it on Shabbos.

2. Rava: A person who is constipated may not clean himself as he would during the week.

3. The Beraisa lists ten things that cause pinworms.

4. It is forbidden to smooth out a dirt floor of a house on Shabbos, because such an act is considered building.

5. Cleaning one's self with earthenware after going to the bathroom causes a person to be susceptible to witchcraft.

A BIT MORE

1. Tana Kama: It must be large enough to throw at a bird (to chase it away). Rebbi Elazar ben Yakov: It must be large enough to throw at an animal.

2. The Gemara explains that while Rava agrees that he is allowed to clean himself to facilitate going to the bathroom even though it will probably cause hairs to fall out, he must do so with a Shinuy (in a different manner than he would during the week).

3. Some of these are: eating the spine of a fish, eating a salty fish that is not totally cooked, and drinking wine sediments.

4. Similarly, it is forbidden to smooth out one's field on Shabbos because of the prohibition against plowing.

5. A witch who was trying to harm Rav Chisda and Rabah bar Rav Huna unsuccessfully claimed that this was one of the reasons that she could not harm them with her spells (because they did not clean themselves with earthenware).
