SUMMARY

A Safek Tum'ah from a Sheretz that is floating in the water is Tahor. (1)

Rebbi Shimon says that if a Sheretz is floating in a vessel a Safek is Tamei but if it is floating in water that is in the ground a Safek is Tahor.

If a Sheretz is in a person's hand and is being dragged in the water a Safek Tum'ah is Tamei.

If a Sheretz is thrown across the water a Safek Tum'ah is Tahor.

If a k'Zayis from a Mes is thrown across the water and it is a Safek if it was thrown above something Tahor the Safek is Tamei. (2)

If something Tahor is thrown across the water and it is a Safek if it was thrown over a k'Zayis from a Mes the Safek is Tamei.

If a Zav is in the water and it is a Safek if he was Masit a vessel or if he sat on a vessel the Safek is Tamei. (3)

It is a Safek if a Safek Tum'ah from a Mes that is floating in a vessel on the water is Tahor.

It is a Safek if a Mes that is floating on a Sheretz, or if a Sheretz that is floating on a Neveilah, or on another Sheretz if a Safek is Tahor.

It is a Safek if a Sheretz that is floating on a dissolved Neveilah, or on Shichvas Zera if a Safek Tum'ah is Tahor.

If a Nazir or an Oseh Pesach becomes Tamei to a Tum'as ha'Tehom on the seventh day of his Tum'ah after he was Tovel and after the Nazir shaved his is Tahor. (4)

If a woman gives birth during her days of Taharah for a previous birth she does not have to bring separate Korbanos for each birth.

If she subsequently gives birth for a third time during the days of Taharah of the second birth, one set of Korbanos is sufficient for all three births. (5)

If one or two previously unknown graves are found the Mes may be removed but some dirt must be taken along with it.

A BIT MORE

1. Even if the Safek is in the Reshus ha'Yachid it is Tahor.

2. Only a Safek Tum'as Maga is Tahor in the water not a Safek Tum'as Ohel.

3. Only a Safek Tum'as Maga is Tahor in the water not a Safek Tum'as Heset or Moshav.

4. Even though they do not yet have He'erev Shemesh and someone who is b'Chezkas Tum'ah is Tamei from a Tum'as ha'Tehom, however since all they are lacking is He'erev Shemesh they are not regarded as someone who is b'Chezkas Tum'ah.

5. Even though the third birth was after the days of Taharah of the first birth.

BRIEF INSIGHT

TUM'AS SHERETZ

Rebbi Shimon says that if a Sheretz is floating in a vessel a Safek is Tamei, but if it is floating in water that is in the ground a Safek is Tahor. The Rambam says that only with regards to a Tum'as Maga from a Sheretz is a Safek Tahor if it is floating. With regards to Tum'as Maga from a Mes however, a Safek Tum'ah in Reshus ha'Yachid is Tamei even if it is floating.

QUICK HALACHAH

KORBAN PESACH

If a person was Tamei Mes and Mei Chatas was sprinkled on him on the third and seventh day, and on the seventh day he becomes Tamei to a Tum'as ha'Tehom and he went ahead and brought his Korban Pesach and he subsequently found out that he was Tamei he is not obligated to bring a Pesach Sheni, because once he was Tovel on the seventh day the original Tum'ah ceased. But if he became Tamei from a Tum'as ha'Tehom on the sixth day and he found out after he brought his Korban Pesach he is obligated to bring a Pesach Sheni because a Chezkas Tamei is Tamei until he is definitely Tahor because there is a Raglayim l'Davar.
