A BIT MORE
1. The Mitzvas Aseh of a Metzora shaving his hair supersedes the Mitzvas Lo Sa'aseh of cutting off the Pe'os.
2. The Mitzvas Aseh of a Metzora shaving his hair supersedes the Mitzvas Aseh and Mitzvas Lo Sa'aseh for a Nazir to cut his hair.
3. The Mitzvas Aseh of Tzitzis supersedes the Mitzvas Lo Sa'aseh of Shatnez.
4. Although it is prohibited to shave the beard with a razor with both a Mitzvas Aseh and Lo Sa'aseh, however since the Aseh applies only to Kohanim the Mitzvas Aseh for a Metzora to shave his beard supersedes the Aseh and Lo Sa'aseh of shaving the beard.
TZITZIS OF WOOL AND LINEN
Woolen and linen Tzitzis are Motzi all types of Taleisim. The Hagahos Maimoni says that wool and linen Tzitzis are only Motzi other types of Taleisim if the Tzitzis consist of both wool and linen. The Techeiles is made from wool and therefore the white Tzitzis must be from linen if the Talis is not made from wool.
SHATNEZ WITH TZITZIS
Tzitzis made of linen or sheep wool are Motzi all Taleisim, with the exception of linen Tzitzis on a wool Talis or vice versa (nowadays that we do not have Techeiles) because it is Shatnez. Some opinions hold that one should never use linen Tzitzis at all, even for Taleisim that are not made from wool, and that is the Minhag. Tzitzis made from other materials are only Motzi a Talis made from that material. If some of the Tzitzis are made from wool or linen and other Tzitzis are made from the same material as the Talis, it is a Sefek if it is Kosher. (Shulchan Aruch OC 9:2-4)
