SUMMARY
A woman who gives birth is regarded as a Tevulas Yom until the end of her days of Taharah. A person who is Tamei may eat Terumah as soon as nightfall arrives, even if he is a Mechusar Kipurim. A person or a utensil who is a Tevul Yom may not touch Terumah. A person who is Tamei who enters the Beis ha'Mikdash or eats Kodesh or Terumah is Chayav Misah. (1) The Tana'im disagree about whether a woman may eat Terumah if she is betrothed to someone whose Bi'ah would disqualify her. (2) A Petzu'a Daka is a man whose Beitzim are injured. (3) A man who has only one Beitzah is eligible to marry a Bas Yisrael. A man whose Beitzim were injured through a natural occurrence may marry a Bas Yisrael. A Petzu'a Daka or Kerus Shafchah who is injured in the Gid, Beitzim, or Chutei Beitzim is forbidden to marry a Bas Yisrael. If the Atarah is punctured all the way through, the man is regarded as a Petzu'a Daka, even if the puncture hole is very small. If the Atarah is severed but there is even a small strip of Atarah remaining around most of the circumference of the Gid, the man is not regarded as a Petzu'a Daka. (4) Rav Huna: If the Gid is severed at an angle, the man is not Pasul, but if the interior of the Gid is removed, he is Pasul. (5)
A BIT MORE
1. A person is not Chayav Misah for touching Kodesh or Terumah. 2. Rebbi Yochanan says that in a case where the woman was eating Terumah until now, everyone agrees that she may continue eating Terumah even though right now she is Mishtameres for a Bi'ah Pesulah. 3. Even if only one of the Beitzim is injured, he is regarded as a Petzu'a Daka. 4. This is true only if the remaining strip of the Atarah is toward the body. 5. Rav Chisda: The opposite is true. Rava: Rav Huna is correct.

BRIEF INSIGHT
PATZU'A DAKA AND A TEREIFAH The Tana Kama in the Beraisa says that even if only one of the Beitzim is injured, he is regarded as a Petzu'a Daka. Rebbi Yochanan ben Berokah says that if one of the Beitzim is missing, he is not a Petzu'a Daka and he is eligible to marry a Bas Yisrael. The Tosfos Chad mi'Kamai says that the Tana'im are not arguing. If one of the Beitzim is injured, the man is Pasul, but if it is completely missing he is not Pasul. We find a similar idea regarding the Halachah of Tereifah: If one of the kidneys is damaged, the animal is a Tereifah, but if it is completely missing, the animal is not a Tereifah.
QUICK HALACHAH
A PETZU'A DAKA Who is regarded as a Petzu'a Daka? A Petzu'a Daka is any man whose Beitzim are injured. A Kerus Shafchah is one whose Gid was severed. A male becomes Pasul if there is an injury to one of three organs: the Gid, the Beitzim, or the Chutei Beitzim. (Shulchan Aruch EH 5:2) A Petzu'a Daka and a Kerus Shafchah are incapable of having children. If one of them gets married and his wife gives birth, it is certain that the children are not his, and the children are regarded as Mamzerim. (Beis Shmuel)
